In order to help our members we have set up three Tele-conference locations around Maine. Our hope is that by eliminating most of the travel more of our members will be able to participate. Southern Maine Tele-conference Location - Thadeus Street, in So. Portland Northern Maine Tele-conference Location - Eastern Maine Central Labor Council on Ivers Street in Brewer. Local 716 Union Hall in Augusta will be the home base of the operations. Inclement Weather Date January 16th 7pm See you there!

S.C.O.R.E. will be leading the morning session with information about starting a small business. S.C.O.R.E is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). This seminar is very helpful for those people who are looking for resources about financing, budgeting, business plans and many more essential small business tools. In the afternoon the presentation will include information about how to have a union supported business. Administrators will explain the advantages of the health Insurance, retirement and other union business benefits you may consider. A light breakfast will be served at 9:30 am and lunch will be provided at 12:00. We look forward to seeing you there and helping you achieve your small business goals in 2009!
