Local Union 716 represents over 600 members. Our jurisdiction covers the entire state of Maine, from just above North Berwick to Madawaska, from Eastport to Wilsons Mills.

We have an OSHA 10 course scheduled for this saturday 11.22.08 @ 7:00am at the hall. Please call Joe Champagne @ 621-0013 if your interested. Most contractors require their employee's card to be a year old or less!!!

Please find attached the announcement and schedule for the upcoming one-day Conference on the Union Approach to OSHA and Safety and Health. This is an important program, sponsored by the Bureau of Labor Education and supported by our Building Trades Council, along with the Central Councils in Maine. Details are included in the attachment.

Please join us in helping support The Good Samaritan & More Food Pantry! The Good Samaritan helps 27 towns in Maine with food clothing and household items. Local 716 would like to help them serve the poor, elderly and underprivileged of this area. A donation box will be placed in the hall, please give what you can!
